City Park is located within the Houston Independent School District with several schools in close proximity to the community, including Codwell Elementary, Frost Elementary, Law Elementary School, Thomas Middle School, and Sterling High School. Grocery stores and retail shopping, including Wal-Mart, are located within 1 mile of the community.
Our community boasts several entry monuments, attractive perimeter walls, playground facilities, landscaping, walking trails and vast recreational open space and parks which promote the Grand Central Park theme. The City of Houston owns a 4.5 acre park site adjacent to CPW Section 3 (Just south of CPW Section 2) as you can see on the Landplan.
